A RESPITE IN THE CITY, LIVING IN HARMONY WITH NATURE

The event was held in the Hundred Mile Gallery Scenic Area in Yanqing, which covers 371 square kilometres of lush vegetation and serene environment. Riding in this area feels like travelling back in time, to the countryside of our yesteryears.

It was a picturesque scene amidst the vibrant colours of the forest, as the mountains and rivers stand by each other, and the participants marvelled at the wonders of nature.

Participants also visited the Beijing Wild Duck Lake National Wetland Park, which is also known as "the only nature reserve for wetland birds in Beijing".

Biodiversity can only be protected, if the natural conditions here are not destroyed or disturbed.

As the night falls, participants checked into the “Hidden Over the World” B&B, where the courtyard glows in a warm light against the backdrop of the surrounding mountains. This space evokes a sense of paradise.

Unlike life at the office, there are no complicated business affairs here. The employees were relaxed in each other’s company much like old friends, as they shared the bits and pieces of their life in the tranquil environment.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND CONTRIBUTING TO SOCIAL GOOD AT CBI – EVERY BIT COUNTS.

Corporate team building events are not uncommon, but the combination of a low-carbon cycling event and an environmental protection charity event is a meaningful approach that reflects the core values of CBI.

As Chai Jing once said in "Under the Dome", "We do not have the right to just complain and not know how to be constructive".

The government is calling on citizens to protect the environment through policies such as "low-carbon travel" and "waste classification", and it advocates a low-carbon lifestyle that cherishes ecological resources. By gathering the collective power of the society to raise the awareness of the concept of “environmental protection for all” and “an eco and green lifestyle”, it ensures that more people can participate in creating and sharing the value of environmental protection, and in turn promote the development of eco-friendly social causes in China.

Hence, we are taking actions to put environmental protection and contributing to social good into practice. Every action begins with a small step, as we contribute our effort to protecting the earth, the planet that we call home.

All participants spared no effort in picking up the garbage in the scenic area, to keep nature clean and spotless. The golden reeds of autumn and people caring for the environment are the most beautiful sight to behold in October.

Nature has gifted us with a myriad of beautiful scenery that we should not only appreciate, but also take care of wholeheartedly. Likewise, CBI has always been grateful to our partners and friends in the business on our journey of development.

RIDING TEAM BUILDING EVENT, TEAMWORK TO OVERCOME ALL HURDLES

Through this team building event, CBI employees also improved their unity, execution, collaboration, creativity, and has laid a stronger foundation for their future collaboration. All the participants dedicated their passion and youthful enthusiasm as they overcome the challenges during the activity.

This event also taught us that work is like cycling, as long as we keep pushing and going forward, we will discover more beautiful scenery along the journey. There is a meaning for all the twist and turns, bumps and bruises along the way. Perseverance and persistence will always lead to a glory path.

There are many common traits for outstanding businesses.
